Free Photoshop Actions
Photoshop actions – files that contain step-by-step action scenarios associated with various types of changing or image editing. Automation of action, which was, developed by engineers at Adobe, helps speed up the execution of many frequently repeated routine tasks. Photo editor has the ability to use standard actions built into Photoshop, download ready-made bundles of actions or record your own.
In order to upload actions to Photoshop, you need to go to the “Window” tab in top panel of Photoshop. In it, select the subsection “Actions” and click on it.
This is done in order for the Adobe Photoshop start displaying the actions panel. After that, in the right part of the “Actions” panel, you need to click on the icon of the drop-down menu.
In him, you need to select the item “Load Actions”.
Next, select the folder where the actions are located, select them and click Enter.
In order to record the action, you need to select an image and remove the layer protection from it (looks like a lock).
Then at the bottom of the “Actions” panel, click on the sheet icon to create a new action, give it a name and select a subfolder where it will be stored.
After that, in the same place click on the record icon.
From this point on, will record all your actions (for example, adding brightness, changing contrast, resizing image, etc.). After all manipulations are completed, you need to stop recording. You can do this in the same place at the bottom of the “Actions” panel by clicking on the stop icon.
After that, your action will be recorded and saved.
Using actions is a very simple task. To perform it, you just have to remove the protection from the image to which you want to apply the action.
Go to the “Actions” tab. Select one of the required actions from the list and at the bottom of the panel press the start button (it looks like the Play button).
After that, the scripts written in this action will start.
